Amarone
2007 Amarone Classico Giuseppe Campagnola
We have been working in the last year with the old winery of Giuseppe Campagnola in the Amarone DOC of Verona in Italy to produce the first 'ded. reckoning' from overseas. Amarone is one of the most sought after and revered of all red wines in Italy and this one is no exception. Corvina and Rondinella grapes from the hilly vineyards of Marano were laid on straw mats to partially dry until the January after harvest before pressing. This wine is from the much heralded 2007 vintage and has deep, almost black color, with plum, candied cherries, dark chocolate and rich dried figs. These wines are known to age for decades and this one expected to do the same.

Rose 2011
Also 100% Sheridan Vineyard fruit, this one is primarily Cabernet Franc juice that was bled off the tanks prior to fermentation. This is a classic technique used in the Loire valley in France to make the stunning rose from that famed region. Essence of watermelon, strawberry, green plums and fresh flowers. Just a smidge of sweetness that is oh, so refreshing on a hot day. Rose is making a huge comeback and wines like this are reason why. Salmon, cioppino, Dungeness crab and the mighty King crab all are perfect matches. 50 cases produced.

Red Table Wine 2010
Oink! Is back and even better than before! 20% of the juice spent some time in barrel this one, with just layers and layers of deep berry fruit, a kiss of chocolate and a rich, plummy character. Mostly Cab Franc and Malbec, it is designed for BBQ (duh!), burgers, grilled steaks, peanut butter sandwiches, Doritos, pork rinds and just about any other picnic, pig roast or luau you could plan. As there is very limited oak, it will also take a light chill and make a wicked sangria or wine cooler. This was a huge hit last summer and the quality of the juice in this one really steps it up a notch. You will be floored by what is in this bottle and for &*^% and giggles, throw it in blind into a Washington Cabernet tasting. Really fun stuff here! 125 cases produced
